So, according to IRS.gov, I am supposed to have a direct deposit of up to $600 in my bank account today. Nothing so far. *growls* I read everything on the website and it just mentions that it might take longer if there is an issue with your tax forms and whatnot, but there wasn’t with mine because I had my direct deposit (of both federal & state) within 10 days of mailing in my signed forms. I am kinda counting on this money, GW, as are a bunch of other people, it had better come through. Has anyone else seen any money hit their account (or seen a paper check) yet? (To my Can-girls, sorry … no money from GW will ever touch your bank … I’m sure that you’re very upset about that.)

I’m dressed & ready for day #2 at work. Today is a 9 hour day. Then I plan on coming home and crashing. Literally. I have Sweeney Todd and I will be putting on my pajamas, making some hot chocolate (or tea, because I don’t think I have any hot chocolate) and then literally vegetating in my chair. I am draggin’ ass today ladies … mmm dragon ass.

Quick funny story. My friend Jamie doesn’t have a relationship with her mom. They haven’t in years. On Wednesday Deb (prof) reminded us to “remember your moms,” and Jamie blurted, aloud, “I wish I couldn’t!” The whole class got really quiet and then the three of us her know her situation burst out laughing. It was highly amusing. Maybe it was a “you had to be there” moment.
